Hello. I have just hailed from Chicago and have been here about two weeks now. I taught in Texas for 24 years before moving to Chicago and teaching the past seven years. My daughter graduated from Purdue and began working in Denver for US Fish and Wildlife and the rest of my family is in the Panhandle of Texas, so I decided it was time for a new adventure out west closer to my people. I'm excited to be here and to get to know all of you. I am also anxious to explore this part of the world and see what there is to see AND to be out of the frigid cold Chicago winter for a change. I even gave away my snow shovel with a smile on my face. I am looking forward to meeting both students and parents and working together to insure a positive learning experience in 2008-09.
